Do you eat breakfast?

A one-question poll on meal timing. Here is the question, the running results, and what the answer actually means.

What the answer means

Breakfast is not compulsory, and skipping it as part of a longer eating window suits plenty of people. What matters more is the whole day: total energy, protein spread across meals, and not over-correcting with a huge late dinner. If skipping breakfast leaves you ravenous by 11am and reaching for something sugary, that is the signal to change it — not the clock.

How the results work

Each share above is the percentage of everyone who has voted so far. Once a country clears a minimum number of votes, its own split is shown alongside the global one, so you can see whether, say, Estonians and Finns answer this differently. Nothing here identifies an individual, and the sample is simply whoever chose to vote — treat it as a mirror, not a scientific survey.

Frequently asked questions

How are the results worked out?

Every bar is the share of voters who picked that option, out of everyone who has answered so far. Once a country passes a minimum number of votes, its own breakdown appears too. Individual answers are never shown.

Is there a right answer?

Not really. The notes below explain what the evidence generally says, but the healthiest choice depends on your own routine, not on what most people pick.
